Protect Your Property with Millenium Access Control

Updated: Apr 23

Millennium access control systems allow you to determine who can enter a room and when providing robust protection against potential risks.

A pre-engineered solution for systems up to 32 doors, Tellus eliminates the need to provide server hardware and execute complex software installation, ensuring new sites can dash.

Easy to use

Access control systems are not only used at banks and government properties; they are also used in regular businesses to keep intruders out and restrict employee movement. Some even install them at home to prevent children or teenagers from entering certain rooms.

Condominiums have unique Millennium access control needs, including reliably securing multiple buildings and parking structures under a single system. Millennium access controls allow for the customization of unique door controls, allowing tenants to have complete control of their apartments while maintaining centralized control.

The site control unit is the communication hub and memory buffer for Millennium devices (DCDs, ECDs, and ESCUs). Depending on the configuration, one SCU can support 100 DCDs or 4 ESCUs and 10 ECDs.

Scalable

Millennium access control can scale up and down with a property's needs. Its modularity and flexibility help it increase as your facility or employees expand. Its system software works on any linked hardware, so you can easily integrate new doors or entry door equipment.

EDCDs communicate to the Millenium access controls that use twisted pair and multi-drop RS-485 wiring methods, including daisy-chaining, TTapping, home running, and high-security loopback. If communications with the SCU are lost, onboard memory buffers store 100 software-selectable priority events.

Tellus is a pre-engineered, scalable Enterprise-class system specifically designed for fast installation. The fully configured Tellus eliminates the need to supply or identify server hardware and enables installing up to 32 doors in one shot, saving valuable time during installation.

Versatile

Whether you're looking to reliably secure a single apartment complex or manage the entry security for an entire apartment building, Millennium access control has you covered. Connecting one system's interior and exterior security needs is an excellent management and financial decision.

Guard Touring

The ability to create guard touring gives timed accountability for each security operator and can be a critical factor in reducing maintenance costs. The system can support up to 100 independent tours with 96 stops each.

The Enhanced Site Control Unit (ESCU) is a communications hub and memory buffer that works with Millennium access controls and device controllers (DCDs/EDCDs, ECUs). Up to 1000 DCDs can be bidirectionally connected to the ESCU via RS-485 using supervised wiring methods, such as Daisy Chaining, Tagging, Home Running, or High-Security LoopBack.

Secure

Keep your business and employees safe from outside threats with a Millennium access control system that offers high security and reliability. These systems block unwanted entry into sensitive areas by granting or denying access credentials based on time and date.

Millennium access control is a communications hub and memory buffer for all the door controllers in your system. Each SCU is a single-pole, form C relay rated for two amps @ 24 VDC and supports up to 10 programmable inputs that can be supervised via wired connections.

Using twisted pair, multi-drop RS-485 communication, each DCD features a software selectable priority event saved onboard if the SCU goes offline with the central server. This feature allows you ultimate control even if the system is down.

Reliable

A Millennium access control protects your office building, co-working space, or home by keeping intruders out and preventing unauthorized access. These systems verify a person's identity by reading their credentials (card or fob) or scanning their biometric data, such as fingerprints and iris. If the credentials or biometric data do not match the stored information, the system will deny the person access.

Millennium access controls act as the communications hub and memory buffer for all devices connected to it. Bidirectional communication is accomplished over twisted pair, shielded cables using the RS-485 communications protocol. One site control unit can support up to 99 DCDs/EDCDs and 4 ECUs. It also features a robust event history that logs all system activity.
